"cham" exhibition

Artist
Creative developer
operation director

'Cham' Exhibition is the milestone of my high school year, 2022 - the first digital art exhibition ever in my hometown, Haiphong City. The event aimed to speak on behalf of victims of violence and abuse and unveil the brutal truth behind perpetrators' minds. Witnessing many hidden bleak stories surrounding the matter, as the Operation Director, I stepped up to speak for the unvoiced, to educate my community about the reasons why many good-hearted individuals turn evil and how to be kind.

I displayed two digital artworks on the criminal personalities there, demonstrating the two very realistically with coldness and valiance. As vile as my artworks may seem, it was because I chose not to depreciate the brutal reality.

Tools

Palette

Brush

Wacom

Adobe Photoshop

Oil Glaze

Pixel Hard Round

What makes the works outstanding is my ability to combine the color and make the most use of the outlines. The palette successfully creates a gruesome chills while the outlines are highlighted with brighter color to create an edgy, glitchy aspect - driving more focus on the character and sharpening the suspenseful feelings.

"Keep a secret!"

The story unfolds upon a secret as a form of verbal abuse. The one who knows the secret of one another has threatening power.

From victims
to convicts

The violating plot thickens as the traumatized victims start to get in the wrong frame of mind as they seek revenge or have intentions of harming others. They lose their true beautiful nature, gradually turning into exactly how the convicts are to them.
